Is Autauga Academy accredited?

Yes, Autauga Academy is accredited by the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) and Cognia.

Do students at Autauga Academy wear uniforms?

No students are not required to wear uniforms.  Please see our dress code policy for what is acceptable/not acceptable to wear.

What is the earliest time students can be dropped off in the morning?

The earliest drop off time is 7:15am.

What time does school begin?

School begins each day promptly at 7:50AM.  Students will be tardy at 7:55AM and must obtain a pass from the front office to enter class.  

 

How do I check my student out during the school day?

All students should be checked out through the main office. 

High school students that drive themselves to school will need a note or email from a parent in order to leave school.  

All students can utilize five (5) parent notes per semester to check out or be absent.  After five parent notes, students will be unexcused unless they have a doctor's excuse.  

What association does Autauga Academy participate in for sports?

In the summer of 2024, Autauga Academy transferred to the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) from the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) for sports.  We are still a member of the AISA for academics.
